Last month I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful styled wedding shoot in Brooklyn. Brooklyn Heights is one of my favorite neighborhoods.
As a wedding photographer I’ve wanted to share some of my favorite places where I think brides could take unforgettable wedding portraits. I contacted a couple of wedding industry professionals right here in Brooklyn and shared my vision. Once everyone was on board we all got to work.
Quinn and Caleb our models, are a real couple living in Brooklyn & Queens, respectively, who are getting married out of state in two months. Quinn the bride to be is a Brooklyn native and loved the idea of having a wedding experience in Brooklyn, the town she loves so much. Quinn and Caleb were amazing to photograph. Their love for each other was so palpable and they were just a ton of fun the whole day. Not to mention, they looked incredible.
I aimed for romanticism, simplicity and elegance. From the custom watercolor crest to the gorgeous hair accessories & veil – a bride is able to be unique and effortless while adding minimal & elegant pieces to her wedding day. The dress coupled with the hair and make up styling created such a romantic & feminine look, that is just so timeless. The bouquet was bold and distinctive for the bride who likes to look effortlessly beautiful but still add boldness to her wedding. Downtown Brooklyn’s Borough Hall & The Historic neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights were the perfect backdrop to this stunning wedding inspiration shoot. A special thank you to Quinn & Caleb our real life love birds who gave us true love as a canvas.
