I try not to write much if at all for wedding posts because I want the photos to tell the story, but from time to time I will. Today is one of those days. This blog post for Alyssa & Patrick’s wedding is a bit overdue. I put my blogging on pause in September & October (busy season for most wedding photographers in the industry) and am finally coming back to share all of the spectacular weddings and sessions I have had this season. Alyssa & Patrick kicked off my 2019 wedding season with their beautiful Green Tree Country Club wedding at the end of August. Their 2018 Central Park Engagement session is one of my favorites and I was so happy to be reunited with them on their big day.

I have known Alyssa since she was a little girl and it’s been so sweet watching her grow up into such a talented and beautiful young women. When I saw her again after many years, and met Patrick at their engagement session I was so happy she had met her “one”. They are beautiful together and so in love. I wish you could have heard their vows. I’m not much for crying at weddings, but I cried at theirs.

Alyssa’s mom designs giant letter signs and she created a custom monogram sign for their sweetheart table.

Aww moment: Their vows! Their families praying for them from their seats while the couple stood at the altar.

Epic: They had the entire beach to themselves for their sunset couples portraits.

I wish Alyssa & Patrick a lifetime of happiness, laughter and music (their both singer / musicians)!
