I recently had the pleasure of photographing Eileen & Caleb for their engagement session, in NYC. Caleb the groom-to-be suggested The MET as a location because it was a place where him and Eileen share fond memories from the early days of their relationship. I love shooting at the Museum, and was so happy to meet another couple who loved the museum and shared a history with this beautiful place.

The day these photos were taken was one of the coldest days in December. Eileen & Caleb were such troopers handling the cold. They had a great attitude and they seemed to have a ton of fun together, laughing and trying to stay warm, in each other’s arms.

Things that I loved: Eileen & Caleb are book & film lovers, I loved hearing about all of their adventures throughout the city, enjoying literature and cinema, two things I very much enjoy too. They told me about so many amazing NYC places I didn’t know about.

Their upbeat spirits in the midst of wind chills that’d make anyone shiver.

Their company! So sweet & fun.

I’m so looking forward to photographing their wedding this fall and seeing all of the sweet details they’re planning for their wedding day. Eileen mentioned that their wedding will have elements inspired by their love of books & cinema and I can’t wait to see it all and celebrate their love for each other!
