Ashle & Christian were two of my very first clients ever when I photographed them back in 2017. I believe they may have even been the first maternity session I had ever done. At the time Ashle (pronounced ash-leh) was carrying their twin boys, a miracle pair, they had prayed long and hard for. The doctors weren’t sure about the twin’s odds. A few months later, by the grace of God, Ashle gave birth to two healthy, beautiful boys, Joaquin & Ezekiel. A sweet fact, Ashle went into labor on the day of her baby shower. Guests were left jumping for joy, and smiling at the party without ever getting to see Ashle in person that day. When labor happens, it happens!
Since then, I have had the pleasure of photographing their family three more times, four in total. I consider them friends, and it’s been such a gift to see our families grow over years. This year, Ashle wanted to gift Christian an anniversary shoot for their 6th year wedding anniversary.
The day of the session was one of hottest days of the summer so far, but you couldn’t tell from these photos, because these two are as cool as cucumbers together and so happily in love.
