September 2021
In September I had the pleasure of meeting a new family for a Central Park family session.
They were traveling to New York City from the West Coast to visit family and wanted to document their travels by booking a photography session with an East Coast based photographer.
I’m so glad that the “Y” Family found me and that I was able to capture these moments for them. It was so clear from the moment I began shooting that they truly enjoy being together as a family and that they love each other deeply. It made the photos that much more special.
This session was one of my top 10 favorite sessions of the year, because I loved seeing how tenderly they showed affection for each other as a couple and as parents, I loved the weather and the scenery. I also love that this was a two part session because two days later I photographed them again along with the grandparents and some beloved siblings / (aunt & uncle). I’m sad that the Y family live so far away but I’m still so thankful that we connected and that I got an opportunity to photograph this fun trip to Central Park.
Also, I must shout out Jannelle, (photographed below) who sent me my very first Paperless Post card. I am a huge fan of Paperless Post and have used them for years, but have never received one myself lol. It was such a sweet surprise when she sent me a thank you card via Paperless Post after receiving their gallery. I was so touched I actually teared up. It’s those thoughtful gestures that make a big impact. Thank you again Jannelle!
