Dolores and Will’s engagement session was such a dream to photograph.
Dolores and I go way back, like fisher price way back. We grew up in the same church and Dolores is now one of my sister’s best friends and was a bridesmaid in my sister’s wedding. When she reached out about her engagement photos I was absolutely thrilled. First because I love her and second because I didn’t know she was engaged! It was a little secret that Will had proposed recently and It was just the best news to hear that they had decided to take this big step and that they wanted me to photograph their wedding at the end of the summer.

We did our wedding consult over facetime, they picked a wedding collection and we went on to schedule their engagement session. They were so gracious to drive in to Pennsylvania from New York for their session. I chose White Chimneys Estate because I find it to be such a beautiful treasure in Gap, PA. The over 300 year old farm and grounds are so beautiful, and such a romantic backdrop for a wedding or engagement session. They arrived at sunset to be surprised by my sister and her husband who came to surprise and celebrate them. They were so happy to see their best friends and we all went out to dinner after to catch up and continue the fun.

Will and Dolores are huge baseball fans and attend just about every game of the season back in New York. I suggested the two capture some playful photos together in their team jerseys. Dolores loved the idea and the romantic sunset session on the farm ended with lots of laughter, baseball jokes and of course, love.
