It was a cloudy day in March when I met Grace & Joe for their engagement session at Van Vleck House & Gardens. The grounds were soft and wet from recent rain, and the smell of fresh greens was a delightful welcome when entering through the main gate.  Although we did not have any sunshine, and it was very cold, we had the sweetest time strolling the gardens, talking about their upcoming spring wedding, and the journey to their big day.
Grace stunned in a beautiful lilac / blush satin floor length dress and Joe kept it cool with a navy blue tuxedo. As the wisteria waits for its moment over the Van Vleck House terrace, the loveliest flowers had already begun to bloom, and what do you know- they matched perfectly with Grace’s dress and lightened up the day with their kismet color and beauty.
