Eunice & Mikey’s wedding was my last wedding of 2019. Their wedding date landed on one of the coldest days of winter yet, at the time, and I got lost five times on my way to the hotel because my hands were so cold that I didn’t want to reach for my phone to check google maps.
Thankfully I planned to arrive an hour early, and still got their in time to start shooting details before my actual scheduled start time. Yay!
I loved the dark & cinematic vibe I got from the rooms Eunice & Mikey stayed in, in The Ace Hotel. The dark backdrop was so visually beautiful, and the light flooding from the windows into the rooms was perfect.

Eunice was a vision on her wedding day. The amazing team at Brides by SB styled her hair & make up so beautifully. Mikey looked very dapper. I loved Mikey’s dark, sleek suit coupled with Eunice’s romantic, tulle gown.

I had the pleasure of chatting with Eunice, Mikey and two of their family members in the ride to Bottino’s. I really appreciated just how kind, friendly & thoughtful they all were.
Mikey, the groom, was also wonderful to work with, very funny and made photographing the couple so fun. Along with the bride & groom, the entire bridal party, family and their guests were just awesome.

I must also commend the team at Bottino who did an incredible job that evening. The staff were so diligent, and so well lead, and the food was phenomenal. I truly hope to shoot more weddings there in the future. Bottino is a gem. It’s a fantastic wedding venue & restaurant for anyone who would love an intimate & romantic wedding, with amazing food, in the heart of NYC.

Eunice & Mikey’s wedding was a truly wonderful end to the year for Writer & Beloved Photography, wedding wise. I got to meet a really awesome couple, who put together a lovely, fun, and romantic wedding.
