I met Jennifer & Tim years ago at a church community group. My husband and I really hit it off with them but then we all lost touch after my family and I moved to Phoenix. That’s why I was so happy when Jennifer and I found each other on Instagram and were able to reconnect after over four years!

In the days leading up to their romantic couple’s session I was so excited to be photographing them. Jennifer had informed me that they hadn’t had photos taken of them professionally since their wedding day over 12 years ago! Not only did I want to break that streak, I really wanted to see my old friends again.

When Jennifer & Tim walk toward me in the street, I immediately recall how warm and kind they are, just as they were four years ago when my husband and I first met them. When I begin taking their photos I immediately love how sweet they are together. They are absolutely smitten and they deeply admire one another- it’s clear in every photo. So romantic.

Photographing these two was a dream. Their love and deep respect for each other is so palpable and beautiful. Also, in between shots our conversations were great and they handled me getting us lost several times, incredibly well. Ha ha. I kind of lost my bearings and walked us in large circles around Brooklyn Heights for a little bit there.
