I met Iris and Brandon for the first time over coffee. We got together to discuss their engagement session & upcoming wedding plans. After talking a little bit about the session and their expectations, I was so excited for this shoot. Iris, a big fan of The Beauty & The Beast (so I am!) had found the perfect dress she loved for her engagement session and it was inspired by Belle’s dress in the film. Iris loved the idea of a romantic engagement shoot in iconic & historic Central Park locations, and Brandon was the awesome fiance who wanted to make her dreams come true. I was so encouraged as their photographer to learn about them, their engagement story and about what mattered to them during this engagement session. Seeing them excited made me excited. Their chemistry & friendship is so palpable through the images I was able to capture on this sweet morning in October. Their shoot turned out amazing. They were romantic and beautiful and Central Park which undergoes the most epic passing of the seasons was the prettiest backdrop for these two.

Brandon, along with just about all of the grooms-to-be I get to photograph, is such a gentlemen, not only always looking out for Iris, but even offering to help me out with my gear bag through out the session.
