S & G welcomed me into their home last summer for a cozy at home maternity session.
Being a Central Pennsylvania family photographer doesn’t necessarily mean I’m only ever in Central PA documenting milestone moments. I am often traveling to the surrounding states as a family photographer to capture families all over the East Coast.
It’s such a joy getting to capture these special seasons in families lives as they grow.
S & G were over the moon with anticipation for their daughter’s arrival and wanted to document this special season in their growing family’s life.
I traveled to Garden City New Jersey to capture their family in the home they would soon be welcoming their daughter to. They were accompanied by their sweet pup who looked as smitten and excited as they did.
What I love about this session is how calm and peaceful it was.  We were able to have the session at a slow pace and capture the sweet moments between S&G doting on their little one as she stayed cozy in her mama’s womb. It was such a nice session and I am so happy for this sweet family.

S & G went with two looks for their at home session. S first wore a white off the shoulder floor length dress while G wore a pink button down.  When we ventured out for some outdoor portraits, they switched colors so to speak and S traded her white dress for a pink midi dress with flowers, while G wore a white button down.  The hints of pink both wore at the session was the perfect nod to their little girl.  These outfit choices also set the mood for the calm at home feel, and then the sweet-heart vibes they shared at the park, a park where they once took their wedding photos together.
